Convent Street

Located in camp, this is a small quiet peaceful area you get into from the by-lanes of Shivaji Market or from Quarter Gate. The street has schools and age old catholic churches. There are scattered Parsi and Christians houses . The area was famous for the Brand Factory outlet which now shutdown. A new outlet is still to come up in its place. There is a Sports Bar located here. Going ahead there is the famous Hite Bar fast food joint. Its open till about 11:30 in the night selling fresh and spicy chicken rolls, burgers, shwerma . Around it there are some bakerys, boutiques, car accessories shops, electronic items shops, childrens clothes shops. In another lane of the street there is English bakery, behind St Vincents School. They specialize in making all types of breads and donuts. Go in the evening and you get to see how they making the donuts. They are nice ,hot and creamy. In one of the corners of the street there is a stall selling Bhel and panipuri. You might wonder who will come here, but he has a lot of fixed customers and also takes bulk orders for events. A visit on convent street will fill your mind with tranquility.
